CAAST-Net is a five-year joint Africa-Europe platform dedicated to advancing bi-regional cooperation in science and technology.
CAAST-Net is funded by the European Union under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) grant agreement 212625.
The CAAST-Net coordination team are located in London and Nairobi. The project coordinator is Dr. Andy Cherry of the Africa Unit at the Association of Commonwealth Universities (AU-ACU). Sara Calamassi, the project administrative assistant, is also based at the AU-ACU. Dr. Eric Mwangi, the Africa Region Coordinator, is based at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MoHEST) in Kenya.
