CAAST-Net FP7 Information Day in Cape Verde

CAAST-Net's Work Package 5 will be hosting an FP7 Information Day in Cape Verde on Friday, 5 June 2009.

The title of the workshop is as follows: Opportunities for African researchers to participate in the European Union's 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).

One of the goals of CAAST-Net is to play a role towards an enhanced participation of African entities in FP7. This workshop will aim to foster both the sharing and discussion of general information about FP7, opportunities under FP7, and the best conditions for successful participation by African entities in FP7.

The event will also provide specific relevant information about schemes within FP7 with special interest to African researchers and institutions, and may interest either researchers, decision-makers at research units or representatives of national authorities aiming at implementing or reinforcing the promotion of National Information Points for FP7.
