The Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD) is a networking organisation that promotes multilateral cooperation between universities in the Nordic and Southern African regions, and is primarily funded and driven by its members. Knowledge for Development: The Observatory on Science, Technology and Innovation for ACP Agricultural and Rural Development supports the policy dialogue on S&T for agricultural and rural development in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries.

The RIMI4AC project is funded by the European Union under the ACP S&T programme (project number FED/2009/218782). The goal of RIMI4AC is to strengthen research and innovation management in Africa and the Caribbean.
