The Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD) is a networking organisation that promotes multilateral cooperation between universities in the Nordic and Southern African regions, and is primarily funded and driven by its members. To date, 30 universities from both regions have joined the network. http://www.sanord.net

IST-Africa is multi-stakeholder initiative focused on raising wider awareness of African research capacity, promoting participation of African organisations in the ICT Theme of FP7 (FP7-ICT) and identifying co-operation opportunities in fields of mutual interest for European and African stakeholders.

The EuroAfriCa-ICT project aims at promoting and supporting the development of strategic cooperation on ICT research between Europe and sub-Saharan Africa and between Europe and the Caribbean.
