ICT matchmaking

The Find your ICT Partners face2face brokerage event is a must for any European scientist looking for an associate to submit a joint proposal within the seventh Framework programme (FP7).

FP7, the European Union's (EU) chief funding instrument for research and development until 2013, has ten priorities: health; food, agriculture and fisheries, biotechnology; information and communication technologies; socio-economic sciences and humanities; and information, communication and technology (ICT) Ideal-ist, which describes itself as "an international ICT partner search network" and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which helps small businesses penetrate the EU market, are organising the event. The facetoface brokerage will take place on 28 September 2010 in Brussels, Belgium.

The event seeks to raise awareness on funding opportunities available from the framework programmes of the 27-member EU, provide a platform for universities, companies and researchers to share new project ideas and find partners, and help create consortia that will submit proposals for the FP7.

Interested participants will need to be members of Ideal-ist before they can register online.
